Everyone's so over whether that dress is black or blue, and the latest issue vexing the web community is whether this cat's going up the stairs or down the stairs.
Cats dominating the internet is nothing new - the world wide web just loves their general apathy towards humans, but this time it's all about one cat's ambiguous sense of direction.
Posted on user-generated content site 9gag, this mind-bending picture has had nearly 4,000 comments posted below it, with people debating the direction issue.
"Down for two reasons, one architectural and the other biological," one user debated, adding that the tiles used "are traditionally facing the person coming up the stairs which they are here. And second, look at the cats tail - its facing upwards, or the opposite of the direction its moving in. If the cat were to go up the stairs, its tail would point downwards [sic]."
